A Timeless Thought Of Love

For nights longer then I can remember I have sat and thought,
I have wondered as to what I am to do and who to do these things with,
I have basked in the glory and radiance of so many great people in my life,
I wonder what now I am to think,
For many of these people have gone now,
And I am left here without them and their support,
I loved them,
I experienced them,
I will always remember them,
I will never dishonor them,
No matter what has happened or why they are gone,
I know not why I have been so lucky,
I know not why they all help me fight my wars,
My demons,
My self, when appropriate,
I love them all,
For they deserve more then me,
They deserve one that can give them back what they give to me,
I hope one day I will find these people again and be able to give them one thousandth,
Of that which they gave me.

Forever will these people be in my mind and my heart,
I will love them long after I am gone,
I will watch them from whatever exists beyond this,
Nothing will stop my in my quest,
