Section 8 has grown over the course of 2 years from a online gaming clan to a community of gamers and flash producers. Section 8 got it's first start as an online gaming clan for the pc game Medal Of Honor ALlied Assault. We were just a group of 5 members who put together this online gaming clan for fun so we would always have people to play our favorite game in. We were mostly just a Sniping team, we specialized in Sniping and long range combat. Over the course of 2 weeks we went from 5 members to 16 members of some of the worlds best Online Snipers for the game of MOH. About a month into the making of the clan we were Medal of Honors biggest clan with over 40 members.
We soon moved from Medal of Honor into Socom 1 were we also made a Section 8 Sniper clan. We started there with only 4 members and still to this date we have over 35 members still actively playing Socom. Although we have stopped all clan activities in Socom our members are still welcomed to wear the Section 8 Tags. Not much later than that we ended up in one of our all time favorite games, Swat 3. We were one of the biggest clans in Swat 3 version 1.7 Most everybody in Swat knew who Section 8 was. Section 8 was so big that we had to limit ourselves to only 20 members and to be on the team we were inviting players who we thought had talent. Soon after we starting taking new players in and training them with our elite co-op training program that a few members put together and soon did we not only have the best dm clan in Swat but also the most elite Co-opers the game had ever seen. led by some of the best swat 3 gamers I had ever seen.
We then made a name for ourselves in Mortal Kombat Deception by being one of the first clans in the Mortal Kombat community. We went from only 3 members to 11 members in a 3 weeks time being that we restricted membership to an invite only. A few of our MKD members were the first to discover things that most of the country did not know about, and still don't know about to this date. Section 8 clans are still evolving into new games everyday including their newest clan the Killzone clan for PS2. We are currently looking for new members for this game and Mortal Kombat deception along with Swat 3.
Now not only are we a a gaming clan but we also produce our own Flash movies which will soon be vaialble for all of you to enjoy. And coming in the beginning of 2005 the founders of Section 8 will be taking the team a little further into the unknown as they start their own Ghost Hunting team.
