Story of Sublime on Home Video
Carolyn Horwitz, Billboard, 30 June 1999

Material just keeps coming from Sublime. A new two-hour home video tells the story of the Long Beach, Calif., punk-ska band and explores the emotions surrounding the overdose death at age 28 of singer/songwriter/guitarist Brad Nowell. "Stories, Tales, Lies And Exaggerations" features rare live footage of backyard parties, acoustic jams, crazy road stories, and coverage of the '95 Vans Warped tour. Guests include No Doubt, Pennywise, Mike Watt, and Lordz Of Brooklyn. The video comes on the heels of a new live album from the band, "Stand By Your Van," released last week on Gasoline Alley/MCA.

"Stories, Tales, Lies And Exaggerations" hits stores today from Cornerstone R.A.S./Skunk Records, priced at $19.95.
