"How could anyone have found out my love?"
"I do not know dearest, but we are in danger. There was talk in town of coming here and killing us both. They think we are demons!"
"But we are not darling!"
"We are creatures of the undead my love, to those that are ignorant, we are spawns of Lucifer, or we would not be undead."
"Maybe if we talk to them, they will see that we are peaceful!"

"No, there is no time. We must leave now!"
The lovers took nothing with them, and never looked back at their home, as it was set ablaze, by the murdersome townsfolk. They managed to reach the river, where Garrison kept a small boat. Farayne had never seen this boat before, but it seemed that he had always been prepared for the day he could be discovered.
Garrison gently picked her up and set her in the boat.
"Come my love, we must get you away."
The words hit Farayne like a club.
"Get me away? Darling, what of you?"
"There is no time my sweet. You must go onwithout me."
Faryane tried desperately to climb out of the boat, but Garrison pushed her back in.
"I will not leave without you my love!"
Garrison's eyes flashed, but his voice was not unkind.

"You must leave me, and you will. Always know my love, that the years I have spent with you, have been the happiest of my existence. If I must die now, know that it is with a happy heart I go to my death. I will accept this eternal sleep, and take with me the knowledge that I have known true love. Never forget me my love."
Garrison pushed the boat away from the shore, and the last thing the lovely vampire saw before the boat disappeared into the night, was her lover's head being cleaved from his shoulders.

She sailed to America, where she wandered alone for the next two hundred years. She was lost with out her love, and killed many humans during her wanderings, to exact revenge on what she saw as cruel injustice.
The men of the town, that had taken her love from her, had been from the local church, and were of Anglican faith. Every town she went to, suddenly had a drastic decline in the clergy of the Anglican Church. Being damned gave her the opportunity to kill wantonly, and she did so hoping that for every clergy member's life she took, vengeance would be served for her murdered love.

Tired of wandering and murder, Farayne settled in Orlando, Florida and opened a nightclub, The Twilight Innocent. The year was two thousand. She catered to every strange human in the central Florida area it seemed and her club was full to capacity every night. Soon, her own kind began to seek her out, and eventually the club became a safe haven for every creature of the undead.

She rolled the young man off her. He had tried to rob her, as she left the club before sunrise.
"I hope it was worth it asshole."
She laughed loudly. He tasted good. She was tired. Existence had been unbearable the past two hundred and eighty years, since she lost her love, in seventeen twenty. Though many men had vied for her hand over the centuries, she used all of them. They were sex and nothing else. Though Farayne enjoyed her new life she never forgot her Garrison, her eternal love, and never loved again.

Farayne watched the bodies writhe on the dance floor below her.
"Trish, I'm tired, tired of everything."
"Whatever do you mean Farayne? How could you be tired? You have everything any woman could ever want!"
"I don't know; I'm justrestless."
"You need to find a new love."
"No."
"But Farayne"
"No. That matter is not up for discussion Trish. There will never be another Garrison. He was a dream Trish. His mannerismseverything about him was impeccable. All I have for men now, is disgust. They are nothing but pigs. They're emotionally immature, needy and all they care about is getting a woman into bed. They are rude, boorish and can't carry on a decent conversation. I have no desire to ever love again if those things are what I have to choose from."
Trish laughed.
"Oh Farayne you are too picky."
"Maybe so, but I won't settle for just anything. I know what I want and I have yet to find it."
"You just want another Garrison, Farayne and you will never find him, not in this time. He was a once in a lifetime love."
