| My uncle Ben Ross was one of the only family members who remained in Buffalo, NY USA. He belonged to the U.S Navy and was at Pearl Harbor of the day of the bombing. |

| Journal Entry Dec.7th 1941 The Japs Attacked! We all thought that we would have a peaceful Sunday and then the Japs came. They didn't hurt us too much luckily our big destroyer ships weren't even touched. Bombs were coming from everywhere! from every corner This really set off all us Americans , I know that we are going to have to get them off somehow but how? they are all across the ocean! |
