It all began in the fall of 2000. Eric and Jesse had recently moved to the small town of Painted Post New York and were both looking to form a band. We jammed together a couple of times and decided that we should start a band. Eric had previously met Mark and he had expressed an interest in seperating from his current project (Seventh Sign) and that he wanted to sing. So with mark on vocals, eric on bass, and jesse on lead guitar they were complete, but we still needed a second guitar, mike demeritt completed the ensemble. At the time we were all pretty good friends and had discussed starting a band, but nothing so far had come together. Then suddenly we found ourselves with 3 weeks to prep for the debut of Second To One at a JSA fundraiser. To make a long story short after a lot of hard work our first show was a success. We then took up recording our EP for a while at the McCarthy residence, who we thank dearly for the opprtunity and hospitality while there. We didnt have a permanant drummer at the time, so we recorded with a drum machine. We sold our EP to students and fans all over, including out of state, which helped us out with our financial problems. Then we realized we would need a drummer for our live show. With the help of Luke Sweet, we now are improving on our material greatly. Luke has only been drumming since the summer of 2000 but has the skill of a drummer who has played for 4 years. Currently we're playing local venues like the soulful cup, colonial days, and hopefully tags. Our album will be due out in late August, early September hopefully, but we will see what happens...
