Hello and welcome back to the Guide page!
19 of us got our craft badges! We were delighted... we also did our flights of fancy GFI's.
The parrots really worked. We made bath bombs for mother's day.,, from the Guiding UK site... thank you Guiding UK!
The weekend of 29/3 was busy ...On the Saturday afternoon we had our hair-raising event. Most of the colour we used was spray on, and came off after one wash, BUT one of the mousse's takes five washes to come out, so most of the company has red hair at the moment! Even Bala and Den were "captured" and had to have ther hair sprayed full of glitter, hair colour and modelling spray. They did look funny!
Following the hair-do's, in the evening, we had our 75th party .... we had the good old campfire cake again. We also did a parade of how uniform had changed since 1910. We thought we did really well.. and so did all the adults. We also heard all about the cook's badge in 1910...we're glad we didn't have to do all that! How did they do it?!
We're now looking forward to the annual bowling trip and also "Camp Safari 2003"....Come back soon to find out how it all went.
