"This is my favorite part of tours!" Dewey exclaims, as she one last time leads you to the second story and through a window at the end of the corridor. She steps onto a black iron structure built into the brick edifice of the lodging house, and motions for you to join her. "Don't worry, it's pretty stable. Most the time, there's quite a few of us up here at nights." She takes a seat on one of the steps.
"If you go to sleep early, not to worry. We usually don't make too crazy a racket." She smiles and leans against the railings of the fire escape. "But if you're a night owl, we'd love for you to join us whenever you want. It's just another place where we like to hang out with each other and talk about life in general."

"So how'd you like the tour? Hopefully, it exceeded your expectations." She wraps her arms around her knees after taking a seat on a step and then smiles up at you. "D'you think you'd like to give it a try and stay with us here at Second Heaven?"
Swiping her gray derby hat from atop her head, Dewey takes from its insides a folded piece of paper and hands it to you hopefully. "If so, here's the application we'll be needin' you to fill out. Once you turn it back in, we can start getting you set up!"
