Based on earthquake observations, studied the tectonic behaviour of the subduction trench and the volcanic chain in Central America during a postdoc research at the Freie Universit�t in Berlin, Germany from April to December 1993.
Results were presented internally at the university and during the annual meeting of the German Geophysical Society (DGG) in M�nster (1994).
