Perspectives on Social Science

While most of this site has stressed the implications of systems thinking on the Physical Sciences and Humanities, this section includes links to a broader range of topics.  It has only been recently that the social sciences have been viewed through this new paradigm.  Topics, such as Ralph Abraham's concept of erodynamics, are only beginning to bridge this gulf between physical science and social science.

The links here don't necessarily incorporate systems thinking, but introduce new ideas about how to view psychological and sociological issues that we face in today's global, culturally diverse, and technological society.  They cover anything from the treatment of children in the first years of life to the affect of cyber culture on human identity.

The Continuum Network - derived from J. Liedloff's anthropological view of behavior after the first years of life;  also click on this shortcut  the Continuum Concept  for a full definition

Partnership Way - site dedicated to the concept of gender equality in social organization developed by Riane Eisler

Psychology of Cyberspace - study of the psychology of individual and group behavior in cyberspace

(There will be more, but for now this will have to be enough.)
