Death
is probably not you're most favorite subject, but it is a
reality. Did you know that 10 out of 10 people
will die, including you and me. In fact, 2
people die every second, which means that over
150,000 people will die every 24 hours. Of all
those 150,000+ people, do you think anyone died
unexpectedly? I'm sure most of them died
unexpectedly. Can you guarantee me that you
will wake up once you put your head on your pillow
tonight? Can you even guarantee me that you
will make it to your pillow tonight before you walk
off this earth into eternity? No, you can't;
no one can.
When
it comes to your beliefs (and mine also), it's
important to consider a few questions:
1. What do I belief and why?
2. Do I get my information from a reliable
source?
3. How do I know my source is reliable?
4. What if I'm wrong?
What
if you're wrong? That sounds pretty mean, but
think about it. What consequences would you
would have to face if you end up being wrong about
eternal matters? And remember that you're
beliefs will not change reality. For instance,
I could say "I don't believe in trucks"
and continue to walk onto the highway proclaiming my
beliefs. However, my beliefs will not change
the reality that trucks are real, and my belief will
be disproved the moment I step into the path of a
very large 18-wheeler.
Death
is not very far away at all, so it's important for us to
have the correct answer about what happens when we
die. In your search for correct answers,
always remember to search for TRUTH, not just for
something to believe in. When it comes to
eternal truth, it's VERY important to know the right
answer before you and I walk out of here. So
what's happens when you die? You know, what's
out there when you walk out of here? It's
important to know the right answers before we walk
off into eternity because eternity is a long time to
be wrong.
