The Rattlesnake Football Club was founded on August 24th, 2003 in Boston, Massachusetts by founder and current Rattlesnakes coach Sean McLaughlin.

The club motto is "Strive for Success". The clubs mission is to develop young players into competitive footballers by means of inclusion, motivation, practice and preperation. There is a youth development program, an under 18 youth team and an semi-professional adult team that is currently playing in league 1 of the MassSoccer league program.
