Nirvana - You Know You're Right (Studio Version Clip)
No, I'ts not the full studio version or even a very large clip, but for you diehard fans out there, its a glimse of Kurt Cobains last song.  It is a 19 second clip featured by Access Hollywood.  It has that lady from the show talking torwards the end.

Unknown - You Know You're Right (Studio Cover Version)
This is a cover band performing Nirvana's "You Know You're Right".  It is not as good as Kurts Version, but it is worth a listen.  This is the WHOLE SONG not just a clip.  It is 4 minutes and 9 seconds long.

Kurt Cobain & Mark Lanegan - Where Did You Sleep Last Night (Studio Version)
This was made by Kurt Cobain and his friend Mark Lanegan from the Screaming Trees.  This song has been covered by over 50 artist in the last century, or so I've herd.  Anyway, this studio version is somewhat darker than Kurt's unplugged version.  This file is only a preview of the song.  It is about 22 secs long and won't take long to download even if your only running on a 56k.  You can get the full lenght on many different progams such as KaZaH and Morpheous.

Sonic Youth

Sonic Youth - Kool Thing (clip)
Excellent mp3 if your into early 90's hard rock. Again, it's just a clip.  But full version can be found at the official SY site.  This is a good song to help you "get into" Sonic Youth.

My Stuff
   -
Solo Jam #1
Guitar solo.  Messy.  Loud.  Abbrassive.  It's sounds a little elitist in the sense that it sounds like I'm showing off.  I wasn't.  I was just tring to make some cool sounds.

   -
Solo Jam #2
Guitar solo.  Previously unreleased until now.  (not that anyone cares).  It's similar to #1 but I like this one a little better.  It's a little less elitist and sounds more like punk than metal.  However, they are similar because they were recorded during the same session.
Soundgarden

Soundgarden - Hands All Over
My favorite Soundgarden song.  Super heavy riffs like Led Zeppelin and as dark as Black Sabbath, this may very well be Soundgarden at its best.  Again I have uploaded a clip for previewing purposes.  Its about 25 seconds long and Chris Cornell hasn't begun singing yet, but it gives you a good idea of what the song is like.  The full length version can be found on "Louder Than Love" or I think you can find it on the "A-Sides" CD which is soundgardens greatest hits record.

Babes In Toyland

Babes In Toyland - Bruise Violet
This song will be well liked if you are the type who likes a certain, shall we say, harder edge punk rock. It may even appeal to a metal audience.  Give it a listen. It, like the others, is a short download (aprox. 30 seconds on a 28.8k modem).  For a few more details on the song and the band, check out "Latest Info June 16" on the homepage.

Green River

a) Forever Means
b) Swallow My Pride
c) Rehab Doll

These 3 songs are all good examples of what the underground music scene was like in the late 1980's.  Green River was the first band to be signed by Sub Pop records, a lable which is now imfamous for having spawned the grunge counterculture.  Well anyway enjoy these short clips.  They are all cool songs but are nearly impossible to find.
