General
» 8 keepers will be kept each season
» Deadline to announce the 8 keepers is March 29
» Keepers can be kept until traded
» 10 teams make up Y2KKL
» Season winner gets a 9th keeper unless winner was inherited, but no 2nd rounder in next MLB draft
» 2 Minor League keepers will be kept each season

Roster Size
» Each team will consist of 25 players
» 18 starters and 7 bench warmers
» Starters have to consist of the following:

8 total pitchers (to be divided however you want)
» 2 DL spots for players who are injured
» 1400 IP limit for all pitchers combined
» No games played limit for hitters
» Position players must make 10 appearances to be eligible at a new position
» Once minor leaguers are called up by both major league team and you, they can't be sent back down; if sent down, become free agents
» Once minor leaguers are called up by major league team, but not you, and won't be returning to minors, they can only be kept on Minor League 5 until end of season; at beginning of next season, have to be put on major league roster or released
» While this will be determined on case by case basis, any callup having a good deal of ABs or IP, i.e. 130 ABs/50 IP, will most likely qualify though injuries, lack of playing time, or being sent back down will enter into discussion
» Minor leaguers drafted during the current season in June's MLB First-Year Player Draft can't be selected for Minor League 5 until next season's Minor League Draft
» If you want to change your Minor League 5 during season, have to post the change on the league message board at Yahoo
» If you want to change your Minor League 5 during off-season, have to post the change at league message board or through email
» Minor league players who got drafted in most recent MLB First-Year Player draft, but do not sign before our current Minor League Draft are not eligible to be placed our your Minor League 5 until the next Minor League Draft
» No more adds/drops after Nov. 5 until after Minor League Draft

MLB Draft
» Will be held before each season in March
» Will consist of 25 rounds
1-8: Keepers only, no drafting necessary
9-25: Pick from remaining players, major league or minor league
» Snake method will be used
» Order is decided by reverse finish of previous season and any traded picks
» Any player is eligible, major or minor league player
» If minor league players are picked, must be kept on major league roster or released
» Minor league players can't be put on Minor League 5 if they are picked in MLB draft

Minor League Draft
» Will be held before each season, and after MLB Draft
» Will consist of 5 rounds
1-2: Keepers only, no drafting necessary
3-5: Pick from remaining players, minor league only
» Order is decided by reverse finish of previous season
» Snake method will be used
» Draft conducted on league message board
» Owners have 12 hours to select each pick
» Qualified minor leaguers will be okayed by owners
» First chance to draft players taken in previous MLB First-Year Player Draft

Trading
» Trading can occur anytime from end of the draft until August 8, the trade deadline
» MLB draft picks can be traded anytime from end of the draft until August 28, but they must be swapped in equal amounts, not necessarily in the same round, i.e. 1 pick for 1 pick, 2 for 2, etc.
» Trading resumes from end of the World Series until March 5
» No maximum trade limit
» Pending trades can be rejected by 3-team committee, but only when obviously unfair
» Teams have 1 day to inform commissioner if think pending trade is unfair
» New player additions stay on the waiver wire for 1 day:
If player is not claimed in 1 day, he will become a free agent.
If player is claimed by only 1 team, that team receives him after 1 day.
If player is claimed by more than 1 team, the team highest up on the priority list will receive the player.
