I've was hired initially by Sekolah Global Jaya
as the Mathematics Faculty Coordinator. I taught the Victorian
Certificate of Education (VCE) subject of Mathematical Methods
in my early years at the school. Later, I became the IT Faculty Coordinator
and taught the VCE subject of Information Processing and
Management. When the school moved to adopt the International
Baccalaureate, I was sent to Bangalore for training in the Group
3, IB Diploma (IB) subject of Information Technology in a Global
Society (ITGS). Currently I am teaching this subject to Year 11
and Year 12 students, as well as the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP)
subject of Computing
Technology. I have previously taught MYP Mathematics to Year 7
and Year 8 students. |
| 1996 - 1999 |
I was hired by the Australian International
School in Singapore as the IT Coordinator for the Secondary
School. During my time at the school, I taught the Higher School
Certificate (HSC) course of Computing Studies at the 2 unit and
3 unit level as well as developing and teaching courses for the
lower secondary levels. |
| 1988 - 1995 |
I was appointed to Jamison High School in Sydney
as a teacher of Mathematics. During my time there, I taught HSC
Mathematics at the 2 unit, 3 unit and 4 unit level. In 1990, I
was appointed IT Coordinator at the school and taught HSC
Computing Studies at the 2 unit and 3 unit levels. I continued
in that role until I accepted the job offer in Singapore. |
| 1985 - 1987 |
I was appointed to St. John's Park High School in
Sydney as a teacher of Mathematics. This was my first
appointment after completing my Diploma of Education. During my
time at the school, I taught Mathematics to a range of secondary
classes. |
