Terms of Service

AmeriCorps 2001-2002

The full-time HealthCorps position requires that you complete 1,700 hours of service within 11 months. Of these 1,700 hours, 80% are in direct service, the remaining 20% are for training. Your stipend is $9,300, or about $422 (gross) every two weeks. You will receive an education award of $4,725 upon completion of your contract.

The half-time HealthCorps position requires that you complete 900 hours of service within 11 months. Your stipend is $4,700, and your education award is $2,300.

The quarter-time Health Corps position requires that you complete 450 hours of service within 11 months. This contract pays no stipend and offers an education award of $1,180.

Health and child-care benefits are available for full time HealthCorps members only.
