Adding a Hyperlink.

A Hyperlink is a way of linking any part of a web site to another location.

The other location may be another page on the same web site, or to a completely different web site.

To create a Hyperlink:

Write the descriptive text to show where the link is to go to. Highlight this text.

From the top line menu bar click on Insert and then click on Hyperlink.

Using this dialog box find the page that the link is to made to and highlight the page name and click on OK.

OR

If the link is to an external web site then type the URL in the space provided.

Hyperlinks can also be made using images.

Highlight the image and then continue to make the Hyperlink in the same manner as for the text link.

When an image is turned into a Hyperlink a border box will be shown. If this is not wanted then click the right hand mouse button on the image and select Image Properties. Select the Appearance tab and set the Border Thickness to zero. (The default is for this box to be empty).
