She tried her hand in the corporate arena, sitting behind a desk, but that did not satisfy her need to express herself creatively. So, she took the advice of a friend who told her to find her passion and pursue it. That led to the creation of Simply Elegant Affairs in 2005, a full-service wedding and event planning firm serving the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
Using the coordination, production and management skills she has developed over the last 9 years as a professional event coordinator, Dionne will use her creativity, sense of style, enthusiasm and highly developed problem-solving skills, along with her poise, professionalism and personal work ethic to create an even that is uniquely suited for you! She has worked with large groups, high-profile patrons, and a diverse range of clients. Dionne is a member of several professional industry groups and organizations.
