STANDARDS FOR THE PUGGLEY

 COAT:        Smooth and Soft.

  COLOR:     * Fawn with black masks

    * Black

    * Chocolates

                    * Brindle

    (Small amount of white will be acceptable.  Preferably chest, toes, blaze and tip of tail)

  EARS:           Prick or dropped

  NOSE:           Moderate muzzle, not snippy.

  BIT:              Even or slightly undershot.  NO over bites!

  HEAD:           Moderate to Apple.

  HEIGHT:       Desirable under 14” at shoulders.

  WEIGHT:       Not more than 18 pounds.

  LENGTH:      Square with females slightly longer in the back than males.

  LEGS:            Front legs slightly bowed to straight.  Back legs straight

TAIL:              Set high with slight curl desirable.  Short tails not acceptable.

DISPOSITION:   Sweet, loving, and gentle.  These dogs make excellent family pets.
