| St. LCW Tides Of Change 5th and 12th March 2004 |
| St. LCW Tides Of Change Results were reported by Jim Boz Once this beating was adjudged to be sufficient by the spiritual leader of C.R.A.P, he threw the West Bromwich Albion fan back into the ring. Thinking that he had the match, and therefore the number one contendership won, Johnson then lost his concentration and began to show off to the Cardinal. This mistake gave Sinner the time to recuperate and nail the Dad with his legendary finishing manoeuvre, the Rock bottom. With victory in his grasp, the happy-go-lucky character went for the cover, but as the refs hand was coming down for the three count, Yeomans grabbed the Fathers leg and placed it on the rope. Seeing Johnsons leg in this position, Ref Dan stopped his count before three and let the match continue. A highly frustrated Sinner then went for his finisher a second time, but, just as he was about to deliver the manoeuvre, the Cardinal got a sly shot into the wacky ones ribs. Thus, allowing J Diddy to execute his dreaded Holy Grail and pick up a tainted victory, a victory which means the Father will get a shot at the World title on Volume Thirteen. The half way point of the night featured a grudge match between Mimmickmaster and Thanatos. Furthermore, we were also expecting Mimmickmaster to have a special mystery guest in his corner. Once both participants had made their way to the ring, the anticipation had reached fever pitch. The fans just couldnt wait to find out who Mimmicks corner person would be, and, after weeks of speculation, they, and Thanatos were finally enlightened when Mimmickmaster cued the music for the entrance of the mystery man. The St.LCW faithful were left in no doubt as to whom the fan favourites guest was when the words Im an ass man echoed out from Dave the Kosovans music station. Thats right, for one night only, Mr Ass was back in St.Lukes and, furthermore, he was in the corner of his former adversary, Mimmickmaster. With the Ass man seemingly turning over a new leaf and therefore being more popular than ever, the match began to a barrage of noise from the excited public. With the fans support, MMM took control of the match. By using a hiptoss, a slam and eventually a dropkick to the outside, Mimmickmaster had Thanatos reeling. When Thanatos eventually got back in the ring, a criss-cross ensued, the result of which was the bad twin being thrown to the outside yet again. At this point, Thanatos seemed to have had enough as he started to make his way out of the arena. Noticing this, Mr Ass dashed over and prevented Toast from leaving. With no choice but to continue the match, Thanatos was again on the receiving end of some MMM offence. Not only did Mimmickmaster execute an atomic drop, he also almost scored the victory as he rolled through a high cross body. Everyones favourite twin then followed this with another near fall resulting from a neat victory role, but then, disaster struck when the former Mexican almost took Mimmickmasters head off with a massive closeline after Mimmick had escaped the attempted backslide. For the immediate minutes that followed, Thanatos took Mimmickmaster to the cleaners. The nice Clarke brother endured an unbelievable Alabama slam, being thrown across the ring with his hair and a high impact suplex which resulted in a near fall for the ex-luchador. Because this rivalry was personal, Thanatos wanted to make Mimmickmaster suffer. Hence, the Latino love machine slapped on an excruciating abdominal stretch, and, whilst doing so, he also verbally taunted Mr. Ass Mimmickmaster did eventually counter the abdominal stretch with a hiptoss, but he could not prevent Thanatos from continuing to lay the smack down. After delivering a DDT and a belly to back suplex, the former three time World champion could still not keep his tenacious sibling down. Thus, he decided to slap on a sleeper. Mimmick then somehow managed to escape the hold using a jawbreaker, he then set about getting in some much needed offence of his own. Merk Clerks attack came in the form of a bulldog out of a body scissors, a suplex, a side back breaker, a Russian leg sweep and an elbow from the top. All of these beautiful moves led to a succession of near falls, similarly, the crucifix that followed also nearly kept Thanatos down for the three count. However, Thanatos then managed to nail Mimmick with a sky high out of desperation. Toast then brought a steel chair into the ring and pushed the ref down, but, before he could use it, Mr. Ass pulled it out of his grasp. In an unthinkable turn of events, Ass then purposely smashed MMM over the head with the chair. Thanatos then nailed Mimmick with a picture perfect moonsault, and all that was left was for the ref to crawl over and count the three. Even though the match was over, Ass was not finished; he delivered two Fame-Assers to the man he had betrayed, the second of which was on THAT steel chair. So, Thanatos had won, but why Mr. Ass? Why? Next up was a Fatal Four Way match for the European title, participants in that match were Iron man (champion), Grell, Se7en and Jurgen Frobe. First to make his way out was Jurgen (wearing the clothes of Se7en). When Se7en made his entrance thereafter, he was dressed in a fashion usually associated with the Frobe. Jurgen, however, took his impersonation a step further when he gestured to the crowd in a fashion reminiscent of Se7en. Se7en used this showboating to his advantage though, as he attacked Frobe whilst he was motioning to the fans. Se7en then hid him behind the curtain and drove his shoulder into the brittle ribs of Jurgen. On that note, Grell made his entrance. The monster, however, did not involve himself in the fight between Se7en and Frobe, rather, he waited for the fourth participant in the match to emerge. Grell didnt have to wait long; Iron man soon made his presence felt by taking control of the Grell with a big toe and a flying lariat. Nonetheless, after Grell managed to get a DDT in, the battle between the European champion and the mysterious one spilled to the outside. The brawl between Se7en and Frobe then made its way to the ring. Here, the more technically sound Se7en asserted his dominance with a front dropkick. Meanwhile, Iron man had escaped from Grell and gone to the backstage area, soon reappearing with a now customary pay-per-view board. However, after setting the board up, Mofo was promptly driven through it by Grells finishing manoeuvre, the Sweet dreams. With the Iron man incapacitated, Grell turned his attentions to Jurgen, who himself was in the ascendancy after delivering an unprettier to Se7en. Grell scooped up Frobe and slammed him into the unforgiving table, but after Grell had finished with Frobe, a now recuperated giant was waiting for him with baseball bat. However, after absorbing some shots, Grell was able to get the bat off Iron man and use it himself. Grell nailed Mofo many times with the foreign object, the end result of which was Iron man being busted open on the forehead. Jurgen was to be the next man who was subject to some serious physical abuse, as he had to endure not only a big boot from Grell but also a tin shot and a rolling closeline from Se7en. During this point in the match, Grell introduced another board to the proceedings, but this board was even more dangerous than its predecessor, as it was wrapped in barb wire. After setting up this deadly construction, the long chinned one slapped a sharpshooter onto Mofo, while Frobe took out Se7en with consecutive tin shots. After releasing his hold on Iron man, Grell then delivered the second Sweet dreams of the match, this time to Frobe. While doing so however, he injured his knee, this debilitation gave Mofo the opening he needed to chokeslam the masked wearer through the barb- wire board. With Grell down and out, Iron man was able to pick up the victory by pinning the still flat out Jurgen. After briefly celebrating his successful title defence, Mofo left ringside (as did the unsuccessful duo of Grell and Se7en). With Frobe left alone in the ring, his fellow New Breed members made their way out to chastise their fallen comrade. Although Hayden said earlier in the night that if Frobe didnt win the Euro title he would be kicked out of the New Breed, he had changed his mind by this time. Hayden said Frobe could remain in his group as long as he danced like a chicken, an embarrassed Frobe duly obliged. Hayden then instructed Frobe to kiss his foot, but, as Frobe went down to his knees, he delivered a low blow instead. Furthermore, Frobe nailed Hayden with a chair and also performed the unprettier on him. Afraid that he would be next, Mike Wiseman ran away to leave his leader down and Frobe to celebrate his freedom from the New Breed. Following on from this harrowing encounter was a triple threat match for the Intercontinental title, in which Dave Daniels and Hardcore Yorkie were scheduled to challenge current Intercontinental champion Jason Sensation. After being the first and second entrants to the ring, Dave and Jason, while waiting for the entrance of Hardcore Yorkie, were seen to shake hands with each other as if to make a pact to team up against the third man in the match. However, after Hardcore Yorkies music did not bring with it his arrival, it soon dawned on Daniels and Sensation that their alliance meant nothing because the king of the stunner wasnt going to show. Realising that they were going to be the only two participants in this match, Double D and the Intercontinental champion started slugging it out in the middle of the ring. And, after a right hand to the gut, it was Jason who won the initial exchange and thereby took control of the match. Sensation used a closeline, some more big punches and a DDT to hammer home his advantage in this contest. With Dave now reeling after this offensive flurry from the former nice guy, Jason had a further chance to inflict yet more punishment on the wobbling Daniels. This round of Sensation offence came in the form of a body slam, smacking his unpopular opponents head of a table and finally throwing Dave to the outside. Here, the smart looking one continued his barrage of assault with some unforgiving shots and then a somersault plancha. When the action returned to the ring, there was still no change in the pattern of the match; Daniels continued to be on the back foot as he was made to endure a back body drop. By now, DD was desperate, and his desperation showed when he resorted to racking the eyes of Jason. Next |
