Although this move was born out of necessity, it did have the desired effect that Dave was looking for by slowing down the previously on-fire Sensation. With the arrogant one partially blinded, Daniels proceeded to tease him by slapping his face. Then, however, the submissions specialist really got down to business by almost decapitating Jason with a muscular closeline. Now firmly in control, Dave proceeded to unload his arsenal on a groggy Sensation. In the minutes that followed, 24 caret gold got suplexed, hiptossed and had his head rammed into several hard wooden tables.

Daniels then used an armdrag, an armbar and finally a superkick to keep Jason down. Sensation, however, was far from beaten, and demonstrated his resilience by blocking some attempted punches from his challenger and landing several blows of his own. The stylish one was then able to land a suplex, which kept both men down for the count of eight. However, when both men eventually made it to their feet, it was Dave who landed what seemed to be the killer blow with a reverse Olympic slam.

But, before Daniels could make the cover, Hardcore Yorkies music bellowed out once more. Distracted by this, and probably thinking that the ginger magician was going to make a late entrance in the match, the former two time I.C champion made the fatal error of facing the entrance way and thereby turning his back on Jason. With Dave in what can only be described as a confused state, and Hardcore Yorkie still not present, Sensation took advantage of the situation by rolling up Daniels for the three count. Thus, the man who went in as Intercontinental champion, went out with his title in tact. And, as Jason left victorious, his opponent was left in his wake to contemplate how a man who hadnt even turned up could have cost him a victory.
Next up, was a match between Sid Justice (accompanied by Angel No Moore) and Boden. As Sid and Angel entered first, they were able to block off Bodens access to the ring, thus, Boden had to take the direct route by leaping between Justice and No Moore. Sid and Angel then ran at Boden, who was waiting for them with a double closeline. Sid and Angel then scurried to the outside, but Boden followed them and dished out a double noggin knocker. Boden then gave Justice an atomic drop on a chair and pushed it over to leave Sid prone on the floor. No Moore then attacked Bode from behind and whipped him into the direction of the crowd. Boden, however, was able to change direction and baseball slide his way into the tipped over chair which was precariously placed against the groin of Justice.

Boden then nailed Angel with a closeline against the wall, thus, leaving Sid and Angel both down on the outside. Eventually, Sid and No Moore made their way into the ring and to the customary managers position respectively. Justice then challenged Bode to a test of strength, but, before Boden could lock hands with Justice, Sid nailed Boden with a kick to the gut. However, Boden was then able to duck a closeline and catch a boot aimed for his stomach. Boden then span Justice around and levelled him with right hands that sent Sid over the top and to the arena floor. Then, Angel tried to attack Boden from behind, but she got caught. As Boden was contemplating whether to jaw her or not, he was attacked from behind by Sid.

Justice then laid in some kidney punches and finally a right hand to the head, which sent Boden to the ground. Sid then tried to choke his adversary, but Boden broke Sids hands away and eventually caught him with a reverse elbow. While going for the pinfall however, Boden saw the referee being distracted by No Moore. Hence, he went over to remonstrate. But, while doing so, Boden was attacked by Justice from the blind side yet again.

This time, Sid didnt let his advantage slip so easily. After catching Boden with a running big boot, Sid then slapped a reverse chin lock on him. Then, just when it seemed that Bode was gathering his strength, Justice hacked him down with a closeline. After then flattening Boden with a text book side suplex, Sid called for the powerbomb. But before he could deliver it, Boden caught Justice with a small package. After kicking out, Sid delivered a devastating chokeslam to Boden. But, on the count of two, Sid pulled Boden off the mat to prevent the match from finishing. Sid wanted to deliver one more chokeslam, but Boden had other ideas. He started a comeback by escaping Sids clutches and executing a leg lariat, following on from this, Bode nailed an atomic drop, three closelines and a side back breaker. Boden then delivered an elbow from the top and finally he synched in the Tipton cloverleaf. But, before Sid could tap out, Angel knocked both the ref and Boden out with a chair. With the ref down, Sid and Angel used double team manoeuvres. Firstly, Angel squashed Boden with a wheelbarrow splash and then she performed the Halo neck breaker. Angel then held Boden in preparation for a chair shot by Sid, but as Sid swung the chair, Bode ducked and Sid inadvertently wiped out Angel. Boden then slammed Sid and hit him with the frogsplash, the ref then crawled over to count three. Afterwards, Sid blamed Angel for his defeat. So upset was Sid that he twice struck Angel and then powerbombed her. After this, Sid stood over Angel and announced that the two of them were finished. Upon seeing this, Boden re-emerged from the back to prevent the abuse from going even further. Additionally, Boden even helped the stricken Angel to the back. Was this a sign of things to come or just an act of sympathy?
All that was left for Tides of change was the World title match, between current World champion Moriarty (with Miss Rebecca) and Hornblower (with Natasha Rider). In the beginning both wrestlers jockeyed for position, and after a few moments of grappling, Moriarty came out on top with a head scissors takedown. Nevertheless, Hornblower continued to wrestle in a technical manner, thus Mori continued to one up Blower with an array of manoeuvres ranging from a short drop toehold to an armdrag. Then, when Hornblower got a waist lock in, Mori used Blowers own momentum to send Hornblower to the outside. Here, Natasha spoke to John, and her words certainly had the desired effect; although Moriarty dominated another exchange, it was Hornblower who eventually gained control. Flat top kept Bill down by using the firemans carry and an armdrag.

Hornblower then escaped both a tilt the world and a hiptoss, he then won an exchange of punches and finally nailed Moriarty with a closeline. Blower could feel the World title coming his way, so he pulled out all the stops. Hornblower threw a barrage of offence in at Mori. First, a dropkick, second, he suplexed Moriary onto a table and left him hanging for a legdrop from the top and onto the back of his head, and third, Mori endured a spinning flapjack onto a table. The ex-P.I then went upstairs, he successfully connected with a moonsault but still could not attain victory. Thus, after slamming Moriarty, Hornblower went back up and attempted to deliver a flying headbut. However, nobody was home, with Blower knocked silly, Mori hit him with a double under hook suplex, a back body drop and then a sleeper hold. Nonetheless, Blower escaped the sleeper and nailed Mori with a superkick that almost led to three.

Hornblower had another near fall with a victory roll and then may have had the match won had he not inadvertently knocked out the ref while delivering a michinoku driver. With the ref down, both Miss Rebecca and Rider interjected in the match. Rebecca delivered a tornado DDT to John, while Nat nailed Moriarty with a high cross body. With both males down, the females used this opportunity to finally get it on.

Initially, Bec levelled Natasha with a closeline, then, after drop toe holding Miss Rebecca, Rider went on to miss an attempted roll onto the body of Rebecca. Bec then nailed Nat with a baseball slide to the back, then, after pushing Natasha to the outside, Miss Rebecca laid her out with a plancha. After this, Rebecca was sent crashing into the wall and then Rider likewise into the chairs. Finally, both women stayed down after Nat flapjacked Bec into the chairs. By then, the wrestlers and the ref were up, and the match was almost ended when Blower bulldoged Mori. After kicking out however, Bill countered a second bulldog with the edgecrusher. But, unbelievably, John was able to kick out. Furthermore, Blower went on to nail a killer blow of his own, but, amazingly, even a tombstone piledriver could not keep Mori down. A bewildered Blower then left himself open to attack, and Bill took advantage by flattening him with a brain buster. John, however, did manage to kick out and keep his championship hopes alive. Mori then went for another suplex, which Blower countered into an attempted bulldog, but before he could deliver it, Mori pushed him to the top rope, where he soon joined him, and the battle continued. After gaining an advantage, Mori set Blower up for a suplex. However, Blower was able to reverse the situation and deliver a double under hook suplex of his own from the top, Blower then covered his opponent and was able to get the three count. Hornblower had done it, he had won the match, he had won the World title, he had scaled the mountain that he had been climbing for the past four and a half years.
