| St. LCW Volume 12: 4th Taping Results Reported by Dave Daniels The mid way point of the night featured an interview segment with Sid Justice who, as we have come to expect, was accompanied by Angel No Moore. Sid began his rant by suggesting that Boden was embarrassed and thus ashamed to show his face after losing to Jurgen Frobe the previous week. In stark contrast to what Justice had said, the Iceman then immediately appeared from the back to claim that he now had respect for Jurgen after his performance last week. Boden then went on to challenge the maniacal one to take on Frobe himself, Sid, not wanting to appear as a coward, accepted the vest wearers challenge and, on this, the New Breed member made his way out to the ring. With Angel in Justices corner and Boden in Jurgens, the match began. The sycho made the early running in this contest with some trademark right hands to Frobe's ribs and face, then, following on from these blows, Sid landed a picture perfect piledriver on his hapless opponent. The Nazi sympathiser has a new found will to win however, and, with the assistance of such determination, Jurgen was able to get in some offence of his own, namely an atomic drop and two running clotheslines. After delivering these manoeuvres, Frobe ascended to the top with the idea of dropping an elbow on his adversary, but, the Munich native delayed for too long and was consequently hurled back down to earth by the now recovered Justice. The self proclaimed master and ruler of the world then went on to deliver one of his infamous side suplexs which, although failing to secure the victory, did succeed in knocking the wind out of Jurgen. From there, Sid slapped a reverse chin lock onto Frobe and began to wear down the battling foreigner. Nevertheless, Jurgen did manage to once again get back to his feet and even break out of Justices clutches by nailing the bearded one with two elbows to the stomach. Frobe then proceeded to deliver a DDT that gave him the opportunity to once again make his way to the top. On this occasion, Frobeys efforts were once again thwarted as the maniacal ones manager grabbed Jurgens arm and thus prevented him from leaping onto Sid. Seizing this opportunity, Justice landed a low blow on the precariously perched Frobe. As a direct result of this, the German fell to the ground below in the kind of agony only a man can explain, furthermore, Angel used this opening to throw the sycho the infamous steel chain. However, before Sid could use this weapon to his advantage, the Vanilla Ice fan interjected and managed to acquire the chain for himself. Justice then began to beg his enemy for mercy, but this tactic did not prevent Boden from nailing the man that rules the world with the foreign object. Because the referee was busy outside the ring with the Devil woman, the break dancing good guy was able to make his way back out of the ring unnoticed by the official. Hence, when the referee returned to the action, all he saw was Jurgen covering Sid, thus, he counted 1-2-3 and Frobe got his second big victory in two camera shows. The action was not over though; as Boden and the New Breed follower celebrated together, Justice and Angel attacked them both from behind. The bearded lunatic then delivered two choke slams to the Iceman and also tore off Bodens beloved vest. Meanwhile, The Hell Cat prevented Jurgen from making the save as she wiped him out with her finishing manoeuvre, the Halo neck breaker. Before the most hated couple in St.LCW left, Sid informed his de-vested nemesis that at the Tides of change pay-per-view there would be a one on one match between Justice and Boden. The penultimate match of the night was an eagerly anticipated Intercontinental title match between Grell (challenger) and Jason Sensation (champion). First to make his entrance was the popular monster; Grell got a great ovation from the fans that felt we could be in for a change of champion. In contrast to the star of the Scream films entrance, Jason was greeted with a chorus of disapproval from the St.Lukes crowd. The onlookers didnt get long to stick it to Sensation however, because as soon as the sensational one made his way through the entrance doors, he proceeded to run to the top of the nearest table and came flying off in the direction of his opponent. Jasons plancha was right on the money and it succeeded in knocking Grell to the floor, Sensations quick start to the match certainly surprised the horror films fan. The former nice guy then hammered home his advantage in this title match by slapping on a figure four leg lock. Any normal human being would have given up right there and then, but Grell isnt a normal human being, this dark character possesses super human strengths. Hence, it came as no surprise when Grell managed to reach the ropes and force Jason to release the hold. Nonetheless, the damage had already been done to the gloved ones leg, but, amazingly, Grell did manage to mount some offence of his own. The mask wearer nailed Sensation with several shots and a slam, Grell then took a risk by going to the top and attempting to execute a leg drop off the table. Luckily for the tattooed one he did manage to connect, but he couldnt keep the smaller man down for the three count. Much to Grells surprise, Jason soon mounted a comeback after delivering a German suplex onto a table. The battle then spilled to the outside of the ring, where Sensation continued to press home his advantage. The Intercontinental champion picked up a steel folding chair and smacked it against the skull of the man challenging for his championship. At this point, it seemed like the party was over for Grell. But, as we all know, you should never count out the Gee-man, thus, the fans continued to back their hero in the hope that he could somehow recover. And recover Grell did, he fought back against the skills of Jason and managed to execute a gut wrench power bomb and also his legendary spear. Sensations last few seconds as the I.C champ seemed near, however, the dastardly title holder demonstrated his resilience by kicking out of the monsters cover. A distraught Grell then lost his concentration for a brief moment and this allowed Jason to deliver one of his most fearsome moves, the pedibomb. Realising he now had a distinct advantage in the match; Sensation made his way to the top and delivered the Swanton bomb. In an unbelievable turn of events, Grell, by the grace of god, managed to kick out of the arrogant ones pin. Similarly to the masked hero earlier in the contest, Jasons disappointment at not being able to finish his adversary led him to lose focus. This gave Grell the chance he needed and he didnt waste it, the mysterious warrior hoisted Sensation onto his shoulders and then laid him out with his trademark finisher, the Sweet dreams. The match and the Intercontinental were in Grells grasp, all he had to do was make the cover. But as the man from parts unknown lay over the fallen champ, his shoulders were down as well. Thus, after counting 3, the referee informed us that the result of the match was a double pin, as both mens shoulders were on the mat. Hence, the I.C title did not change hands and Jason remained a champion. Next |
