| St. LCW Volume 12: 4th Taping Results Reported by Dave Daniels The main event of the fourth taping of Volume Twelve was scheduled to be a one on one match between Hornblower and Dave Daniels. The Horn man, accompanied by Natasha Rider, was the first to make his entrance. But before Hornblowers opponent for the night could make his entrance, Natasha began to speak in the ring. Ms Rider informed everyone that she had in her possession a legal document that stated that Blower could wrestle current St.LCW World champion Moriarty at Tides of change with the title on the line, all Mori had to do to make it official, said the sultry lady, was sign it. With the sound of Natashas voice ringing in their ears, both Moriarty and Miss Rebecca made their way out to ringside. Rebecca and Ms Rider then engaged in what seemed like a heated argument over the far side of the ring, meanwhile, in the foreground, the World champ and Hornblower both signed on the dotted line. Thus, Moriarty versus the former private investigator was sanction for the main event of Tides of change with the most coveted prize in our industry on the line. Upon realising what her partner had done, Miss Rebecca, with a disgruntled look on her face, dragged Moriarty with her through the nearest exit. This left a smiling vixen in the ring and Hornblower waiting for the arrival of his opponent. The nearly man didnt have to wait long, as Dave made his entrance right on Que. Wasting no time, the men locked up and got straight into the action. The grappling which took place between Hornblower and Daniels was quite evenly matched, that is until Flattop began to work on the arm of Double D. During this period of the contest, the whole of Hornblowers attack was aimed at Daves arm, hence the ex P.Is game plan was obvious but effective. Daniels, for his part, struggled to cope with having a bullseye painted on a part of his body, thus, it was through desperate measures that DD eventually restored the balance of the match. Dave used a rake to the eyes to stem the tide, he then followed this with a big clothesline, a body slam and some quick fire leg drops. Just like that, the match had a completely different outlook; now Daniels was the man in the drivers seat and he was planning to make the best of it. With the man in black in control, Hornblowers pain threshold would certainly be called into question. It turned out that the part time carpenter could stand up to the abuse that DD could dish out, after being suplexed, axe kicked and even run into concrete walls, Hornblower would not stay down for the 3 count. Furthermore, the loveable scrapper started to get in some offence of his own, Hornblower came out on top of an exchange of punches between the two men and, as a consequence, the ballfields resident seized the momentum in the match. Hornblower then set about putting an end to Daniels, as he delivered a flap jack from a fire mans carry. As a direct result of this manoeuvre, the unpopular participant in the match landed face first on a near by table. To make matters worse for Dave, the table was then kicked back into his face by Natasha. An obviously groggy Daniels was then set up for the Horny ones trademark finisher, the bulldog. However, knowing that his hated adversary had an injured arm, Hornblower used a modified version of the bulldog to further worsen Daves already damaged body part. After nailing Daniels with this unique move, John Hornblower proceeded to neatly roll up his stricken opponent with a rolling cradle. The referee then duly obliged with the 3 count and Hornblower emerged victorious. Does the World title await? |
