The main event of this weeks show was set into action when The Hornblower and the sultry Natasha Rider came out to an applause fit for the rescuers of Sam Van Dam. Miss Rider stood in the ring and addressed the crowd. She said that the Hornblower deserved to be the number one contender for Bill�s World Title because he is an amazing man and he did, after all, save Sam.
The first lady of wrestling Miss Rebecca must have taken offence at this and the World Champ and his manager arrived on the scene. Miss Rebecca made it clear that John would have to wait as there is a long line of people vying for the Title shot that Natasha wants for the PI.
After putting Rider in her place Miss Rebecca left and out came Hornblower�s opponent for the night Father Johnson, with his leader Cardinal Yeomans. The wrestlers and the managers faced off in the ring and a stiff slap from the vixen Rider left C.R.A.P leader Yeomans reeling.
After the managers had left the ring the match began, and as it twisted and turned the crowd made their feelings clear by chanting �baddy Daddy� at the religious follower. The crowd then got a closer view of the action as it left the ring and made its way toward them, again the Father suffered the wrath of the harsh tongued fans.
Despite the insults when the action returned to the ring Daddy was in the ascension and hit a patented snap-mare brain-buster on PI. This lead the way for the Hornblower to take a beating from the rookie. As usual the Cardinal didn�t stand idly by as the match progressed and took it upon himself to cheat, trying to aid the Father in his twisted parish.
The Hornblower is a top wrestler in St.Lukes and the intervention of the Cardinal was made irrelevant by the resilience of John Hornblower. A big double clothesline for which the Hornblower is infamous signalled the start of his come back.
Father Johnson was then the recipient of the dreaded Michinoku Driver and all looked good for the Hornblower. He then decided to go to the top for his signature headbutt, as he was on top the evil Cardinal landed a low blow and the Hornblower fell short of his target. In a state of shock from the attack of the Cardinal, Father Johnson landed the fastest finisher in St.LCW history, the Holy Grail, to secure the victory of the wannabe number one contender.
Leaving with the Cardinal his hand held high the crowd again laid into the Father, but he was unfazed as he went to the locker room area. The Hornblower and Miss Rider were left disappointed by the loss and angry at the backhanded tactics employed by C.R.A.P.
