| Hell Freezes Over 2003 Week 2 Results were reported by Dave Robinson "Apocalypse" Al Smith beat Sid with Angel No Moore This challenge was short and sweet, well, for the "Apocalypse" it was. Smith proved that he still has what it takes and defied the odds of overcoming both Sid and Angel No Moore, issueing both with a 'Big Scott' and gained the pinfall on Justice. Sid's efforts were thwarted by Al, who kicked out of both the Chokeslam and the much feared powerbomb. Is this the end of their feud? Has Smith silenced the "Master and Ruler of the World?" Moriarty beat An-ton-i Boden That's right, Moriarty beat An-ton-i Boden in the main event, not Grell, as advertised. The match was scheduled to be Grell challenging Bill for the title, but this was not what new Commissioner Winnie Nobbe had planned. The match indeed started with the masked phenom in the ring, but after a second 'Sweet Dreams' attempt, the Commissioner's music boomed out over the Twinnie System, and the man with the Kebab disorder arrived, informing Grell that due to his much talked about shoulder injury, he simply could not let him compete. Instead though, Nobbe did allow Grell to name a replacement, and boy did he ever. He ignored Nobbe's advice of actually picking Winston himself to contend for the title, and instead chose Boden! Insert fireworks. This match really was a show stealer. It pitted two of the most athletically and skilled performers in this industry against each other, and the outcome, in a word, was amazing. Boden looked likely to take the title, after hitting the 'Boden Constrictor,' and with no Miss Rebecca at ringside (as she was taken backstage at the start due to being accidentally clattered by Moriarty) 'tone looked sure to pick up the most prestigious title in the world. It was not to be though, as an Edgecrusher onto a steel chair (brought into the ring by Boden, but not used due to perhaps conscience, fan disapproval) signalled the end of the match, and the end of the 'Ice Man's' opportunity to once again become World Heavyweight Champion. _____________________________________________________________ The PPV was brought to a close with Bill offering Boden a handshake, as a mark of respect. Boden rejected the handshake, and instead left, obviously upset that a chair was used to determine the outcome of the match. An outcome which Boden obviously took offence to. Boden stormed off, and left a puzzled Moriarty in the ring to reflect. Did he know the chair was there? Did he purposely cheat to win? And furthermore, how will Commissioner Nobbe be welcomed? What will happen to the arrested Se7en? Who is returning this volume? Find out all this and more beginning Friday 24th October 2003 when Volume 12 comes to you live from the St. LCW Arena!
