| The Boz Report The Burdens of Moriarty by Jim Boz Being the World Champion should be the greatest period of any wrestler's career. Most of the time it would be - unfortunately though, the same cannot be said about a certain champion who goes by the name of Moriarty. he's the St. LCW World Champion and being the leader of the pack at this point in time is certainly a burden (in his mind). Burden - it is something that is emotionally difficult to bear. What stems from that onus is a source of stress and pressure. Moriarty is now faced with such an obligation. So why is Moriarty worried by the World title? Is it because he now faces the gruelling task of defending his title? Well, to be the champion in retrospect truely isn't a problem, it is infact the culmination of everything any wrestler strives for. The sacrifice, the admiration and the acknowledgement is what the St. LCW World title represents. The problem, however, is that Moriarty himself now feels that he must be the flag bearer of the St. LCW brand. Lost Souls has came and gone and now Moriarty is at the helm as the World Champion. This will be unlike his previous run as champion; he is now faced with a wider range of opponents, more pressure and an increase in responsibility. Page 1 Page 2 |
