| NATIONAL PHILANTHROPY The San Diego Alumnae Chapter supoprts The Sigma Sigma Sigma Foundation. The Foundation is a non-profit corporation established to solicit , collect and distribute funds that will be used by programs that promote the educational aims, leadership skills and community service goals of the organization and its membership. The Foundation supports playtherapy for children at Children's Medical Center in Dallas, Texas and the University of North Carolina Hospitals, Chapel Hill. LOCAL PHILANTHROPY This year we are very excited to be working with the local chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). JDRF holds the Walk to Cure Diabetes each year in San Diego to raise money for research. |
