AUGUST 2003:

DECEMBER 2002

All being well, Greggory will be ready for the 2004 breeding season by June. This is a new venture for me, but I've been around horses long enough to know a good 'un when I see one! Greggory has a lot more than just good looks and conformation going for him. His personality alone will win your heart. But there's no denying his sheer beauty- and his substance will put some serious 'timber' under any light horse, to help produce a superior sporthorse!

I'v always had a soft spot for bay shires, so I was delighted to find Greggory for sale! I fell in love with him, just from his pictures , (who wouldn't?), but I had to be patient as he was only four months old and I wanted him to get the best possible start from his mother,Whitehouse Lady Jan. He was weaned a little earlier than I had hoped, so I worried myself sick over him for the first few weeks I had him. This picture shows the stress we were both under. But I'm now comfortable with the progress he's making.

Here we are on his first birthday 6/8/03.Just to compare, this picture was taken a week or so after I got him, at four months. I still have to pinch myself when I look at him sometimes. He really is more than I could ever have hoped for. ( Bless his cotton sox : )

( May 2004. Breaking Greggory to ride! Please checkout 'Latest News' for updates on our progress.)
