(2) No Friends 2, (3) Parkway Panthers 1
Highlights: Donny McGraw had three goals and three assists and Richard Garcia contributed three goals to lead the top-seeded Vipers (8-1) past fourth-seeded Team Obvious (0-9). Everett Hinojosa scored twice for the Vipers while Alex Guerrero added a goal and two assists. Brandon Fox scored both goals for Team Obvious ... Carl Horten scored on a side net feed from Matt Ponce de Leon with 4:26 to play in regulation to give second-seeded No Friends a dramatic 2-1 victory against the third-seeded Parkway Panthers in an exceptionally hard fought but well played contest. No Friends (6-3) had taken a 1-0 lead on Horten's first goal of the game, assisted by Doug Lentz, in the first half but Jon Oberg tied the game early in the second half for the Panthers (4-5) off a pass from Steve Baxter. Horten roofed Parkway goalie Nolan Navarro with a perfect shot for the game-winner after Ponce de Leon intercepted a failed Panthers' defensive clearance. No Friends was braced in the net by super 12-year-old goalie Andrew Watson, who was coming off a Top Goaltender performance with the Chula Vista Golden Eagles in Tour Pacific Cup action in Las Vegas the past weekend. The Eagles won the Pee Wee Tier AA Division with a 3-0 record as James Arakaki (7 goals, 3 assists) earned the division High Scorer award. Watson teamed with Casey Peterson as the tournament's top netminders in the division after allowing four goals in three games.

Third place: (3) Parkway Panthers 13, (4) Team Obvious 3. Records: Panthers (5-5); Team Obvious (0-10)
Highlights: Carl Horten had three goals, including the game-winner with 2:50 remaining in regulation play to break a 4-4 deadlock as second-seeded No Friends (7-3) upset the top-seeded Vipers (8-2). No Friends moved out to a 3-0 lead on two goals by Horten before the Vipers stormed back on goals by Arturo Garcia, Donnie McGraw and Everett Hinojosa to tie the game 3-3 at halftime. No Friends went up 4-3 just 15 seconds into the second half but the Vipers knotted the score with 6:25 left to play. Doug Lentz had three assists, hit one crossbar and delivered, by his estimate, "10 hard checks" in the game for No Friends. Winning coach Jeff Lew attributed "good passing and good defense" to the victory. "I was changing lines quickly the first half. I played our better players against their better players," he said. Andrew Watson made several key saves down the stretch to keep No Friends in position to score the championship win ... In the third place game, the Parkway Panthers reeled off five unanswered goals to recover from an early 1-0 deficit and closed the game with eight consecutive goals. Jonathan Oberg led the Panthers (5-5) with five goals and two assists while Bryan Bagalini had two goals and three assists and Jeremy Parker and Steve Baxter both scored twice in support of winning goaltender Nolan Navarro. Lance Dyer was credited with one goal and two assists while Panthers teammate Jeremiah Henderson scored once. Bagalini broke open a 5-3 game with a breakaway goal just under two minutes into the second half of play after Team Obvious had rallied from a 5-1 deficit with a pair of goals in the final minute of the first half of play. Josh Royal, Vince Lam and Patrick Johnson scored single goals for Team Obvious while Chris Troie generated two assists.
