The children are as follows:

JOSEPH was born in 1874 at Mount Forest, Ontario. He married Clara Macfarlane and their family consisted of Herbert, Herman, Gwen, Cecilia and Ethel. Joseph and Clara lived in the Kimberley district for a number of years when first married. Then they lived on his parents' farm '20' after they retired to Medicine Hat. Joseph was quite poetic and has left a number of very good poems of his own composition, many of a serious nature, also some in lighter vein. He died in 1958 at Claresholm, Alberta.

DAVID was born in 1876, on Manitoulin Island, Ontario. He married Adelaide Cooney. They lived in Glen Ewen a number of years, then moved to Maple Creek, where they farmed. They had three children, Edward, Jim and Margaret. David passed away in 1963, in Maple Creek, Sask.

ELIZABETH was born in 1877, on the Manitoulin Island. She married Charles Macfarlane and they lived in the Kimberly district for sixteen years, then moved to the Bush farm SE 21-1-34 W1 in the valley. To this union eight children were born, Roy, Elgin, Harry, Marion, William, Daisy, Gordon, and Muriel. Elizabeth passed away in 1933.

ADELIA was born in 1879 on the Manitoulin Island. She married Thomas Drever and they lived near Balmoral, Manitoba for a few years, then moved to Maple Creek to farm. Their large family consisted of ten children, David, Alfred, Florence, Hazel, Walter, Allan, Herbert and Harold (twins), Morris and Warren. Adelia died in 1965 at Maple Creek, Sask.

BERTHA was born in 1880 at Listowel, Ontario. She married James Dobie (a veteran of the Boer War). They farmed at Maple Creek. Their children numbered seven; Jim, Walter, Agnes, Ruby, Janet, Oliver, and Eva. Bertha died in 1957 in Regina.

BENJAMIN was born in 1883. He died in 1888 of diphtheria, at Listowel.

FRANK was born in 1886 at Listowel. He married Harriet Wakelam. To this union were born three girls, Elva, lvy, and Bernice. They lived in Medicine Hat, where Frank was employed in a flour mill. Frank passed away in 1942, in Medicine Hat, Alberta.
