Hello! Thank you for your interest in participating in this important study about biracial people. The purpose of this study is to explore the counseling and therapy experiences of people who have mixed racial backgrounds. This research is part of my doctoral degree requirements at Pepperdine University. Participants should be between the ages of 18 and 30, and have participated in therapy after turning 18. I am looking for participants who have one African American parent and one Caucasian parent. Additionally, the therapy should have taken place in Southern California, by an African American, Caucasian, or biracial therapist, within the last 5 years.
