Blarney to
Schull
( another
fun-filled day )
We drove through a bunch of towns today towards our final destination of Schull in the Mizen Head Peninsula, Co. Cork: Dunmanaway, Clonakilty -- once a huge flax/linen making town, Henry Ford was born here and so was Michael Collins (1890) -- Roscaberry, , Glandore, and then to Union Hall for some sea kayaking. After that, we went through balledehob (which means land between two rivers). The drive along the coast was fantastic! Absolutely beautiful seascapes. We pulled over on the side of the road a few times for photo opps.
