The HEINKEL HE70 E and F " RAYO" in Spain comes just before the organization of the famous " CONDOR LEGION". At the end of October the two first models of the HEINKEL HE70 F (recco version) were engaged. Those recco versions began their incursions over governemental territory being part of the A/88 Sqn.
At the beginning of 1937, Franco's forces received 3 more HE70s, with which they could intensify the recco and bombing flights.
