NC Civil War Veteran's Grave Location Project

"To Honor Our Fallen Comrades and Preserve Our Heritage"

Headstone

My Name is Robert L McAllister and I live in Apex, NC. I am currently working with Charlotte Carrere on a project to locate and catalog ALL North Carolina Confederate Veterans graves. This project was the brain child of my good friend Charlotte and has been in the works for about two years. We have located and documented about 20,000 graves so far. If you know the location of such a grave, in any state, we would appreciate your help in sending the information, or as much as you can, to this site. See the Graves Project Data Request below for the information we need.

We are seeking information about the burial location of ALL North Carolina CSA Veterans. The first book has been published, and we are still gathering information for a possible second volume. The first edition was released in 1996, and is available now for $40, plus $5 shipping & handling. Please E-mail ME for ordering information.

We need the following information:

Full Name

Cemetery where buried

Company

Regiment

State where buried

Birth Date

Death date

Other information concerning the veterans service, battles, date of enlistment, wife's name (maiden if known) and any other information you may think pertinent. Click here to send E-mail
