The Eddie Vedder/Ebay Story
You know how people are always selling stupid crap on Ebay? Well, now I'm one of them! Here's your chance to own the water Eddie Vedder surfed in!Link no longer works
Things are getting weirder by the minute! This morning I was on 91-X talking about my auction and I scored free tickets and backstage passes to X-Fest! So far 1350 people have looked at my auction, but only 1 person has bid. I'm not sure where all these people came from, but some came from pearljam.com's message board. I noticed last night there was a post about me, so I signed up for the message board, and it looks like I'm in the middle of a flame war now!

Thread on another message board, without people who suck:
The Eddie Vedder auction is up to $600,100! I'm pretty sure that I'll never see that money, but maybe I'll get 15 minutes of fame for this.
Yesterday was X-Fest, and I did what I was supposed to go, get some weird crap to sell on Ebay. The auctions are up there now, so check them out. Don't forget, the proceeds go to The Surfrider Foundation.

Thanks to some anus making outrageous bids, my surf water auction was pulled from Ebay. I'm waiting to hear back from Ebay for the reason. I knew I would never get the $1,000,100 that was the high bid from "baddogwater" (otherwise known as Kevin Keyes of Granada Hills, CA) but I figured once he didn't pay I could get him in some trouble. This guy is a total tool. He used two different Ebay accounts to make the bid as high as possible. You should check out the crap this guy sells. Really stupid T-shirts that say "Who died and made you ____ ?", and the names of Nikki Sixx, Alice Cooper, etc. I was going to put a link to his website here so you can see this crap for yourself, but I don't want to take the chance of sending any business his way. The jar of surf water will be back on Ebay soon, and Mr. Keyes and his numerous Ebay accounts will be banned from bidding.
Now those bastards at Ebay took down my auction selling Jeph from The Used's "liquid" in a bottle. I guess I can see why that one got pulled, but it still pisses (haha, piss, get it?) me off. Well, the Pearl Jam auction will be back up tomorrow. I'm off to go see "Weird Al" Yankovic at the San Diego County Fair.
The Pearl Jam Eddie Vedder Surf Water in a Jar aucion is back!
