Their music and lyrics have made a close perfection to my ideal music. There are such certain songs that make me fall in love, and fall apart completely all over again- all in one night. Some of their songs are just so beautiful. They were the first 'indie' band I ever considered being a large fan of. They're the first band to really get me into that scene... 2 years ago, I do believe. If it wasn't for them, who knows all the people I wouldn't have met, and how much harder my wounds would have been to lick. Please, please, PLEASE- If you haven't heard them, pick up 'Something to Write Home About' or download some songs. I promise you, you won't be sorry.

Dude, Dave is a pure musical genius. I cannot praise his musical gift enough. Every song is so inspired, and so cared after by him (at least that's how they seem to be). His music has touched me so immensely. Whether it's a rhythm that's stuck in my head all day long, or a rainy day song that makes my knees buckle and my tears flow. *sigh* Yes, DMB is musical royalty. Their sound is so different from anything I've ever heard, but still so musical. Perfection in the rawest form.

This is my absolute favorite band ever, and I still haven't discovered all of theur music. I remember pack in middle school, I used to snub my friend for adoring the counting crows so much. Little by little I began adoring myself. The unique, rich tone of Adam's voice, the subtle insanity of the various instruments fusing together with such passion and sensitivity. This band is building me. They remind me of Christmas Eve '99' and a candle, and sitting on my friend Ashley's curb and wishing for rain, and then it finally comes. I respect this band so much... and they're incredible.
