Primarily responsible for maintenance and repair of meteorological equipment.
Also trained in UHF/HF communication equipment. Experienced in schematic
reading, troubleshooting,
and repair of electronic equipment. Distinguished Military Graduate of two
schools. Received three letters of commendation to date.
1/1999 - Present Private Work Various Web Design Various work on a private basis. Designed multiple web sites for various customers. Most sites were for private use, currently working on a ".com" site. Sites designed using mostly HTML, with some Java/Javascript and CGI.
11/1994 - 9/1999 Wal-Mart Inc. La Grande, OR Department Manager
Managed department for store. Responsible for all inventory,
ordering, scheduling, and profit tracking for my department. Also designed
C++ program to calculate profit for all departments in store. This program
saved hundreds of man-hours previously spent calculating numbers by hand.
9/2000 METEM C School US-MS-Biloxi Vocational Graduated school with honors holding the highest GPA in school's history. Trained in maintenance/repair of various meteorological equipment. Classes included NexRad Radar, Weather Balloons, Automated systems (ASOS), and Satellites.
6/2000 Electronics Technician A School US-IL-Great Lakes Vocational Studied on UHF/VHF communication equipment. Learned maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of RF equipment. Graduated second in class of over 30 students.
1/2000 Electronics Technical Core US-IL-Great Lakes Vocational Completed school with honors. Highly trained in AC, DC, Analog, and Digital electronics during this school. All of these courses have been evaluated and assigned college credit toward an electrical engineering degree.
6/1996 La Grande High School US-OR-La Grande High School or equivalent
Completed two semesters as school computer technician. Course was designed for
myself and three other students with strong computer skills. Our duties involved
all major upgrades, virus scanning during an outbreak of the "Jack The Ripper"
virus, and basic troubleshooting and repair. This course was supervised by David
Bean.
