Just a collection of some of my favorite things, some things about me, and some links and information that I feel can be a blessing to others.

My husband, George, and I live in Irmo, South Carolina along with two of our daughters, Kelsey and Amanda. We have ten children (eight are George's from previous marriage). We also have 19 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

We try to live very frugally. It is so difficult! It seems that just when you're about to get both ends to meet, somebody moves the ends! I have been collecting some very helpful frugal links. Click here to see some of them.

We have homeschooled since 1996 and we just love it! Homeschooling is growing very fast! Did you know there are nearly 2 million home schooled children in the United States? Homeschooling is legal in all fifty states. Perhaps you would like to know more about the laws in your state.

If you click on my dancing pencil (I used him, Greta!), he will take you to our homeschool page. It's definately a work in progress! You can come and see what I have so far, and you can see the girls' school pages, as well.

Homeschooling would be nearly, if not completely, impossible without a good support group! We belong to one of the best! REACH (Resources, Encouragement, and Activities for Columbia Homeschoolers) is a large group of families that provide that support for us!

I like to garden, cook, bake bread, preserving, cross stitch, working on the computers, reading, plus my involvement as one of the administrators for our homeschool support group. I'm also the director of our homeschool association.

Here's a great Organization Site for the Holidays! I love their forms and lists! I use another site, FlyLady, for the rest of the year. Warning, though, if you sign up for their emails you will be on the computer WAY too long!
