A huge fan of Christopher Meloni...otherwise known as Detective Stabler on Law & Order: SVU and/or Chris Keller on HBO's Oz.

I found out that CM has narrated two audio books: True Justice and The Attorney. I think they are both courtroom-type suspense books...sort of like John Grisham stuff I'm assuming. Anyway, I went ahead and ordered True Justice last night from Amazon.com. I'm buying it used so it only cost me $5 plus shipping. Not too bad of a price! Why did I go with True Justice? Well, it was highly recommended from a member of the Twisted Sisterhood due to a phrase that CM uses! All I can say is "I can't wait to hear those 4 words and pretend that he's talking to me!!!" LOL While I was at the Amazon site, I went ahead and bought a copy of Souler Opposite also. I've never seen it and CM actually stars in this one, so I figured I had to get it! It's definately going to be a Meloni-ous Christmas for me!! Hubby isn't really going to be thrilled about that, but oh well! I'm not too thrilled with some of the ways he spends his time and money, so I guess we are even! LOL

I'm doing a basic search on Yahoo for Chris Meloni and am coming up with some interesting things that I haven't seen before. It seems that he has done some "audio books"/books on tape. So far the only one I have found is for a book called Attorney by Steve Martini. I'm not much of a fiction reader, but the thought just occured to me that it would be so nice to have a tape of CM's voice putting me to sleep everynight! Here is a link to a site that is selling it: Talking Book World. NOTE: I don't know for a fact that this is "my" Chris Meloni who is reading. Could be someone who shares his name, but I will note that there are many actors/celebrities who have done this in the past.

Also, I have just found another interview with CM. I am wondering if I should start a little section to list all the interviews I find. I love reading these, so I'm sure there are others out there who would also like to have a look at them all. I will think more on that idea. Anyway, here is the interview. It's from July 30, 2001. I came across an old interview with CM located on the HBO Oz site. It's pretty interesting as it gives some background info on Christopher's character Keller. I just started watch Oz in Season 4, so I am ignorant about anything that happened on the show in previous seasons. Anyway here is the link: Chris Meloni Interview.
