Francesca lives within her ancient
walls,
Remnant of a time to time unknown,
A rocky outcrop 'midst a ravenous sea.
Now she finds her goods in mini malls,
Cloistered in the heart, her mobile home,
Even as she ranges far and free.
Still, she takes communion as she calls
Clearly 'cross the vales at evensong,
Angelus of what it is to be. |
