LICKING RIVER
Licking River was a small place by the LIcking River 5 or 6 miles from West Liberty.
A  post office was established in 1912 and the first postmaster was Dr. C.C. Burton. The first train came into Licking  Station in 1812. It was the O&K. Post office was discontinued in 1956.

PEDDLER GAP
Peddler Gap got it's name from the incident in which a peddler who traveled in Morgan Co. was killed.
