| Entrance to Lost Creek, located in Upper Sand Lick, named because of the water bubbling out of the sand near the creek. This area was first settled by John Cantrell and family, they came from North Carolina. Lost Creek was a tiny settlement, inhabited by a peace loving people. The entrance being between high rock cliffs and hills. This is a small tribute to the people and the area. |
