What is a Reception Team
A Reception Team is a Scout or Guide group (usually a Rover, Venture, or similar group with older members) that has chosen as a main activity to promote international Scout travel and exchange visits by offering to host or assist visiting Scout groups. The specific services your group provides are up to you. "Reception Team" is not an official Scout term, (except in Sweden), but was adopted for use by the ScoutTraveler Project. Swedish Scouts, who have successfully operated Reception Teams for many years, originally created the term!
