| Northen youth 12/05/02 Race 1 bt He had a good start and kept his 3rd place right up until the end. Race 2 bt A poor start saw him having to claw his way backup to another respectable 3rd place finish. Race 3 Bad start saw him in 7th and eventually clawing once again up to 3rd. Race 1 Scott & Lewis Scott hole shoted the race only to be taken by Lewis on lap 2. Lewis crashed 2 laps from the end and finished in 3rd. Scott went on to win the first race and the first ever person to win a 125 race on the new track. Race 2 S & L. A solid ride from the pair of them saw Scott in 3rd And Lewis 4th. Race 3 S & L. Poor starts but once again a 3rd and 4th. So overall Scott finished 2nd overall, Lewis in 3rd overall, and Brad in 2nd overall. Slaked 28/04/02 Brad race 1 held on to 6th and battled hard for 5th and got it on the last lap Brad race2 poor start and crashed halfway through the race and sprained his thum Brad race 3 DNS Scott and Lewis race 1 good start by bothe of them. They swaped and changed plases to finish scott 9th lew 5th Scott and lewis race 2 better start by lewis who held on to 2nd but let it slip on the last lap scott finished 6th and lew 8th. Scott and lewis race 3 lew and scott got away in 3rd and 4th to finish in 3rd for lew and scott let it slip on the last lap to finish 7th. 17/03/02 Brampton On Sunday we went to Brampton. Race 1. Brads start was sh#t as he ran into sum one on the line and stalled it he took his time getting started again, so came from last to 14th out of a field of 40. Lewis and Scott had a good race together the two of them raced with O'Connor this race lasted until the last lap when Scott got tired and fell whilst going round a burm. In the end he finished 17th out of 40. Lewis stayed on finished in 11th out of 40. BT's second race got under way with a good start and rode a solid race coming in 8th. Scott found him self with a DNF on the second and third race this was due to the bike miss firing on top end. Whether this was down to the wolf CDI getting wet, the pilot main or idle jet becoming blocked, or the spark plug miss sparking still remains a mystery. So some work needs to be done to find out the problem. Lewis had a fantastic 2nd race and finished in 11th and then in 12th on the last race. Brad had a DNF on the last lap of the last race fond found him self on his head. So the main star for to day was Lewis. The poor results were down to the riders such as Jim Murrow, Richard Lawson, The parker Bros, O'Connor and some other non-local riders all looking for the victories, which went to the hard fighting, ever poplar Lawson closely followed up by Murrow. Results pics and for the first time video clips coming soon. 15/03/02 Cullem and Doncaster On Wednesday and Thursday the walker bros went to Cullem and Doncaster for some motocross training with Ricky Priest and Paul marlin. All was good until they went to Doncaster when Scott fell of one of the 50Ft long tabletops on the back straight and had concussion, all is well but for the first 30mins he did not know where he was. The bike can be fixed but the bruises and cuts will need to heal. The bikes need pipes blowing out, a new set of bars, and a front talon straightening. They will all next be riding at Brampton on the 17/03/02. 23/11/01 Brampton Did not attend poor weather!! 18/11/01 Finingly. Race1 Race2 Race3 Brad 10th 14th 16th 20th over all out of 37 Scott 4th 7th canceled 6the over all out of 40 Lewis 8th 5th canceled 8th over all out of 40 Practise started at 10:15 and the order of practising and racing would be autos, adult A, 65s, 85 small wheel, adult B, 85 big wheel, adult C, 125 School boys. Brad had a tough practise as it was only two laps and he got tangled up with some slower riders. Scott and lewis decided to go out with the adults as the practise pace would be quicker than the 125 practises pace. Scott got filled in over the first jump and had trouble with visibility. Things didn't get any better as the practise went on and once again was filled in by another bike. Lewis had a good practise and led for about half a lap. Brads first race was good as he got out of the gate poorly but made up for it going down the start straight and into the first corner in about 8th but as the race went on he slipped down to10th and finished in a respectable 11th out of 37. Scott and lewis had a good race. Scott had a good start and was creeping round the outside of the pack going into the first corner but as he applied the power the back end began to slide out and his brother lewis crept up the inside. Lewis rode a solid 4th for the majority of the race and scott followed in 5th. But an the last lap lewis's front end washed out and scott was abele to flow past and clams 4th p lewis took a wile to recover and came home 8th out of a full line up of 40. In brads second race things went from bad to worse for the youngest of the walker bro trio as he had many crashes and came home in a rather dismal 14th place. Lewis and scott had a good second race. Scott haled of 6th place man Ben riding the number 52 machine but had a small stumble and dropped back in to 6th and with 3 laps to go had a bad crash over the bars and came home in a disappointing 8th. Lewis ode a solid race and picked of riders one by one and gained the places of those who crashed and came home in 5th. Brad had an appalling race again and once again came home in 14th. Scott and lewis's last race was candled due to dispersing light. Well that about raps ups the finingle disaster for brad and good day for lewis and. |
