Name: Taichi 'Tai' Kamiya

Tai is the leader of the Digidestined and the first ever 'goggle boy'. He is courageous and likes to go head first into all of the groups adventures. He gets the group into most of the trouble they encounter but always manages to get them out of it.

Tai is really protective of his little sister Kari and even with his flaws all the other Digidestined look up to him and respect him as a leader.

Name: Sora Takenouchi
Age: 11
Digimon Partner: Biyomon
Crest: Love

Sora is the one who watches over the group, making sure she is there for them in times of need. She is much like an older sister to the group. Sora appears calm on the outside but really she is much like Tai wanting to storm into the next adventure.

Sora isn't the type of person to let someone down when she has been given a task. She gets depressed at times but will always put 100% effort into everything she does.

Name: Yamato 'Matt' Ishida
Age: 11
Digimon Partner: Gabumon
Crest: Friendship

Matt is the loner of the group, keeping his feelings to himself. He thinks that he has to protect his little brother T.K. all the time and when he see's that T.K. is doing fine on his own he gets slightly depressed that T.K. doesn't need his protection.

Matt does not like the fact that Tai is considered the leader of the group, they usually end up fighting with each other. He is jealous of the relationship between Tai and T.K which causes more conflict between Tai and Matt.

In the end Matt is a really good friend and despite Matt and Tai's endless fighting they become the best of friends.

Name: Koushiro 'Izzy' Izumi
Age: 10
Digimon Partner: Tentomon
Crest: Knowledge

Izzy is the most knowledgeable member of the group and carries his laptop computer around with him where-ever he goes.He is the member of the group that figures out the little problems that the group find around the Digital World.

Name: Mimi Tachikawa
Age: 10
Digimon Partner: Palmon
Crest: Sincerity

At first Mimi comes as very selfish and ignorant, but in reality she is a nice person and cares about the others. She often stops Palmon from fighting because she does not want her to get hurt.

Mimi doesn't like fighting much but she will never leave when the group are in danger, she will stay and fight to protect her friends. She does moan an awful lot, especially about all the walking they do. Really, she is a good friend.

Name: Jyo 'Joe' Kido
Age: 12
Digimon Partner: Gomamon
Crest: Reliability

Joe is the oldest member of the group but he is definitely not the bravest. When he first came to the Digital World he was scared of almost everything and kept complaining about his allergies.

Joe tends to worry about most things and the group have learned to listen to him as the things he worries about turn out to be the things everyone else should have been worried about. He became a lot braver in the end.

Name: Takeru 'T.K.' Takaishi
Age: 8
Digimon Partner: Patamon
Crest: Hope

T.K. is Matt's younger brother. He can be a bit of a crybaby sometimes. When T.K. first arrived in the Digital World he would cry nearly all the time. He did try not to cry so much, to try and impress Matt and show he was older than he looked but sometimes he couldn't stop himself from crying.

T.K. is sweet and innocent and he is a lot braver than you would imagine. He gets on well with all of the Digidestined and gets on really well with Tai. Matt gets jealous because he doesn't get on as well with T.K. as Tai does.

Name: Hikari 'Kari' Kamiya
Age: 8
Digimon Partner: Gatomon
Crest: Light

Kari is Tai's little sis'. Kari became a Digidestined when Tai came back to earth after defeating Etemon and she joined the rest of the Digidestined when they all came back to find the eighth Digidestined. Kari is more grown up than T.K. is.

Kari is kind hearted and always thinking of others, putting them before herself. Kari looks up to Tai but is sometimes more mature than he is.
