Hello! My name is Scott Aric Stover. I am a servant of our Lord and God, Jesus Christ. I arrived on this planet through my mother's womb October 4, 1974 at 11:57 AM in Columbus, Ohio. I am now 33 years old and live in Delaware, Ohio with my wife, Lydia, my daughter Kimber, and my son Levi. My parents' names are Golden Arnold Stover and Carolyn Faye Stover. I had fun growing up with my family. With my mom's funny humor and my dad's straight-forwardness I turned out like I am today. My parents loved me by teaching me that Jesus Christ is to be first, then all other things will follow. I have four brothers (Steve, Craig, Mark, and Eric) who I love very much. You may view some of my family by checking out the picture button. On Sunday May 25, 1998 I graduated from Mount Vernon Nazarene College (MVNC) in Mount Vernon, Ohio. My major was full-time pastoral minstry with a Spanish minor. In June of 2005, I graduated from Ashland Theological Seminary with a Master in Divinity degree. Right now, I am working as a Secretary at On-Line Tax & Accounting. Prior to this I worked two years at Circuit City. Before that I worked for three years as a Sales Associate at Micro Center in Westerville, Ohio (a store location that no longer exists). My denominational background is in the Church of the United Brethren in Christ or COTUBIC for short. I attended what was called North Linden Church in Columbus, Ohio until there was a separation in the church in the mid eighties [The denomination split in two - one more liberal (which is today called the United Methodist) and the other more conservative (which is the current United Brethren). We stayed with United Brethren. From that location the church moved into a rented out old movie theater until we were able to build a church in New Albany, Ohio. Our church home is called Christ Fellowship Church. I am currently helping/attending at NorthPointe Community Church in Lewis Center, Ohio. It is a new church plant that launched in January 2000. I now consider this as my new home church. I am a leader of a home group and I serve as the church financial secretary. I am continuing my plan toward ordination. After I have successfully served in a church as pastor for a full year I will be permitted to be ordained in the Church of the United Brethren in Christ. I have been married to my wonderful wife, Lydia, for nine years this past May ('06). Our wedding took place in Ashtubula County on May 31, 1997.
