Match Statistics
As I am sure most rugby league fans would know, this was the game that Scott Prince broke his leg - an injury that ended his season in a shocking and painful way.  The incident that caused Prince's break was a 34th minute chargedown attempt that went horribly wrong.  With Scott Prince looking to knock anther kick smartly into the Bulldogs territory, Jamie Feeney flew through to exert pressure on the kick, but collided with Prince's knee instead of the ball, causing Scott Prince to break both the fibula and tibia in his lower right leg.  This injury has caused him immense pain, and while it appeared he was set to return in July or August 2002, that date has been brought forward to April 2002 - only a few weeks into the NRL season.

While the horrendous injury suffered by Scott Prince is surely the only lasting impression on fans, Prince was having a great game before he was hurt.  While his defencive tally was quite low, he was involved in everything that the Broncos were doing in attack and directing play with authority.  The way he was creating chances for the Broncos' outside backs and the way he handled the kicking duties show how much more comfortable he had become in his role with the Broncos.  While I would like to give you a more in-depth review of how Scott Prince went, I can't rremember a great deal because the match was played so long ago.
