| Bars 1-2 | All set on sides, hands joined. |
| Bars 3-6 | With 1st man and 4th woman crossing the set to start, all chase clockwise halfway, ending on opposite sides in inverted order. |
| Bars 7-8 | All set on sides, hands joined. |
| Bars 9-12 | 4th couple with 3rd couple and 2nd couple with 1st couple dance half rights and lefts. |
| Bars 13-16 | All dance half reels of four on the sides. |
| Bars 17-20 | 1st couple followed by 4th couple cast off into fourth and third
positions respectively. 3rd couple dance up to second place on bars 17-18. |
| Bars 21-24 | 4th couple and 1st couple dance right hands across once round. The finishing order is 2,3,4,1. |
