Bars 1-16 All dance Schiehallion Reels:
This track is danced by all couples simultaneously.
Bars 1-2 Man dances into woman’s position of the couple on his right while his partner casts into his vacated position. From this point on, the woman follows in the track of her partner.
Bars 3-4 Man casts to the right into the adjacent man’s position. Woman follows into her partner’s newly vacated position.
Each couple has now progressed one position counterclockwise in the square.
Repeat tracks 1-4 three times, arriving back in original places, women end facing out.
Bars 17-24 All dance double Men’s Chain:
  Bars 17-18 Men dance left hands across halfway round while women dance into partner’s position.
  Bars 19-20 Men turn woman opposite by right hand.
  Bars 21-22 Men dance left hands across halfway round while women dance into partner’s position.
  Bars 23-24 Men turn partners by right hand, all finish in original places, men facing in, women facing out.
Bars 25-28 Men chase counterclockwise halfway around inside of square to end in man’s position on opposite side WHILE
Women chase clockwise halfway around outside of square to end in woman’s position on opposite side. All end facing partner.
Bars 29-32 Set to and turn partner by the right hand. Men give women a polite turn. All end facing in on a slight angle toward partner and in line side by side with corners.
Bars 33-36 REVERSE set and link with corner. (Corners join near hands to set.)
Bars 37-40 Turn new partner with right hand one and a half times. End with man facing in with new partner on his right facing out ready to enter the Schiehallion reel of the next repetition.
Note: On last repetition, the man gives new partner a polite turn to end both facing in.
