My name is Scott.� My birthday is August 6th and I am 22 years old.� I live in a small town in upstate New York called Fort Ann.� I am a graduating senior at the University of Vermont in Burlington.� It's taken 4 1/2 years to get here but I've finally made it! I used to attend Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida up until the beginning of the fall 2000 semester.� As much as I did not enjoy it while I was there, I truly miss the place and miss all the things about it (especially the warm weather!!).� Vermont is quite odd, I never knew how weird it really was although I had lived near it my entire life!� I majored in Civil Engineering there.� My major at UVM is Environmental Studies. In the end, my career plans are ....well I have no clue actually. I ultimately would like to become a NYS Environmental Conservation Officer and am working towards that goal.. In spring 2001, I joined the Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity here at UVM.� Never thought that I would join one, but things change.� It's a hell of alot of fun!
Among other things, my interests include NASCAR racing, flying, amateur radio, football, and most of all the outdoors.� My favorite Winston Cup driver would have to be Dale Jarrett (1999 NASCAR Winston Cup Champ!!!), but I also like his teammate, Ricky Rudd.� I have been to at least one race a year in the past 4 years.� I've been to Dover once, Daytona many times (since I lived across the road!), and New Hampshire a few times.� Since I went to an aeronautical school, it was kinda obvious that I like planes and flying.� Although I do not yet have my private pilots licence, I want to begin to work on it starting this summer after school ends.� I have always wanted to and would love to do it.� I am fairly new to amateur radio, my friends at Riddle got me into it a couple years ago.� I enjoy it quite a bit, talking on radios is a lot of fun.� My favorite football team would have to be the NY Giants (2000 NFC Champions BABY!) with the Jets a close second.� My favorite NHL team is by far the Detroit Red Wings.. (their AHL team used to be down the road until just a year ago).� I love the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, and hiking.� I finally got my first deer this fall, a 5-pointer.� I live in the beautiful Adirondack Park, so there is alot to do out of doors, plus Lake George is about 5 minutes away, a summertime tourist trap!
